Acceptance Guidelines
Surface Texture
Pavement surface should be tested for milling texture in accordance with AARA CP101 for standard milling and CP102 for micro milling.
Surface Tolerance
The finished surface and grade of the milled pavement should be checked regularly during milling using a 10 ft. (3 m) straight edge. The straight edge may be placed in any direction on the surface except across the crown.
Milling Depth or Cross-Slope
Check the pavement surface for either milling depth or cross-slope. You cannot mill to a constant depth and cross-slope.
