Pre-Construction Testing

Add Evaluation of Existing Pavement Structure If pavement distress suggest weak subgrade check strength of pavement layers with Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) or Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) Recommended
Ground Penetrating Radar Verify thickness consistency of existing asphalt and granular layers Optional
Pavement Sampling Verify thickness of asphalt layers and presence of paving fabric Required
Measure existing slope/cross fall Ensure CP can be performed per contract requirements Recommended
