Road Warriors: LA County

Over a 6-year period, LA County increased their PCI by almost 10%, saved $29M, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 32,000 tons. Using a 3-pronged sustainable approach, the agency was able to care for good roads first, use recycled materials in the treatment selections, and reutilize existing material in-place to improve the overall health of their network.

Not Just Another Milling Job

How Georgia DOT micromilled 500,000 square yards of interstate highway pavement in a single weekend. This innovative approach to preservation added 3-5 years of life and delayed complete removal/replacement, saving taxpayers millions of dollars and miles of inconvenience.

“It's good for the taxpayer. It's good for the state. And it puts the state on the forefront of extending the maintenance dollars."” - Kimbel Stokes , GM Miller Group, Inc.
