The information provided herein should be considered as guidelines, and are intended to be used in conjunction with the appropriate documents. Acceptance of CP operations are primarily based on, but not always limited to, the items listed below. For ARRA resources and detailed information on Acceptance Criteria, please refer to The Basic Asphalt Recycling Manual, the ARRA Construction Guidelines CP101 and CP102. Suggested mitigation for non-compliance are indicated in the Troubleshooting Section and the Basic Asphalt Recycling Manual.
Acceptance Guidelines
Surface Tolerance
The finished surface and grade of the milled pavement should be checked regularly during milling using a 10 ft. (3 m) straight edge. The straight edge may be placed in any direction on the surface except across the crown.
Milling Depth or Cross-Slope
Check the pavement surface for either milling depth or cross-slope. You cannot mill to a constant depth and cross-slope.
